Custom Metal Plaques
Custom metal plaques are sophisticated, commemorative art pieces that are personalized for your unique occasions, achievements, and guests. We print personalized artwork directly onto metal, creating a stunning, modern and unique aesthetic. Our custom metal plaques range from industrial style to gorgeous artful designs, and are designed to be extra special gift for extra special occasions.
Once your design is finalized and your proof is approved, we use high top quality lifetime inks to print your artwork onto metal sheets before mounting a sturdy acrylic backing for durability and functionality. The backside is equipped with a functional sawtooth cutout and finished in fine, black velvet. Each plaque arrives ready to hang and appreciate. Truly a special gift and an upgrade from canvas and paper prints. Our metal plaques come in two finish options, opaque and translucent.
Opaque Metal has a thin white enamel coating which allows full color printing on top, with deep vivid colors and true whites and beiges. Because of the enamel coating, you will not see or feel the underlying raw metal beneath opaque metal art prints.
Translucent Metal prints DO show the actual metal beneath the art print. Light colors are somewhat transparent and whites and beiges highlight the actual tin color beneath the print. When the light shines on your translucent metal art plaque, it creates a gorgeous, luminescent effect. Translucent prints offer a much more metallic experience than opaque metal prints.
Additionally, we offer hand crafted, soldered metal framing services for a complete look. Metal framing is available in tin and may be optionally upgraded to real copper or brass. Framed metal plaques also include a soldered metal chain on the backside for hanging wall display.

Gallery Wrapped Canvas Prints
Lucky canvases are printed onto professional quality, museum grade, cotton blend canvas material. Each canvas is then varnished before being stretched and mounted onto a .75″ solid wood frame. Our gallery wrapped edges ensure there will be no unsightly borders. Your finished artwork is wrapped and mounted around a wood stretcher frame for a seamless finish.
Our canvas prints are artful, colorful, and long lasting. Their timeless artistic appeal instantly draws the eye and warms the room with texture and depth. Canvas prints are ideal for promoting a comfortable and more relaxed aesthetic.

All personalized art prints are available unframed. We also offer solid wood frames on sizes up to size 11×14.
Custom art prints are professionally printed onto 11 mil soft gloss, photographic papers that offer a lifetime guarantee of beauty. We use only archival inks and materials to ensure your art will last for generations to come.

Standard Proof Service
Your custom proof will be prepared for you within 2-4 business days and a link will be emailed for you to review online. Once your approval is received, your order will be processed for production immediately thereafter.
Production Time
Metal Plaques (framed and unframed) are prepared for shipment within 3-5 business days of your proof approval.
Art Prints (framed and unframed) are prepared for shipment within 3-5 business days of your proof approval.
Canvas prints require up to 7 business days to be prepared for shipment, once your proof approval has been received.
Transit Time
Transit time is approximately 5-7 days for all domestic orders. International shipping is a minimum of 2 weeks and may take up to 6 weeks, depending upon the country, the carrier service, and the weather.
Expedited Proof Service
Your custom proof will be prepared for you within 1 business day and a link will be emailed out to you for you to review online. Once your approval is received, your order will be processed for production immediately thereafter.
Production Time
Metal Plaques (unframed) are prepared for shipment within 1 business days of your proof approval.
Framed Metal Plaques are prepared for shipment within 2 business days of your proof approval.

Overnight Delivery
If time is of the essence and you need an even speedier service, it may be possible to add Overnight Delivery to your standard or expedited order. Please message ahead to ensure that we will be able to accommodate your proposed delivery date. We’ll let you know right away if we can meet your timeline and the cost for the fastest delivery available. Overnight deliveries are shipped via UPS.
With Overnight Delivery, we will do everything possible to expedite the production and packaging of your order within the time frame stated and will hand courier your package timely to the overnight carrier service.
Overnight Delivery costs are in addition to standard or expedited order costs and are non-refundable, in the event the carrier fails to make a timely delivery. If your artwork is damaged in transit in any way, it will still qualify for prompt replacement. Replacement artwork will be shipped expeditiously, regardless of prior shipping upgrades, unless previously arranged otherwise.

We stand behind all of our products and will promptly replace any piece that arrives damaged in shipping or deemed lost in transit. In the unlikely event that your plaque includes an error that was not previously approved on your final proof, we will also make a prompt correction and replacement.
Your proof approval is required, in order to send your art into production. This mandatory step ensures that you understand exactly what you will receive, including the material and size of your plaque, the artwork and colors, and the exact spellings and dates that will be printed. If there are any errors in the type or art, revisions will be made and another proof will be provided to you, until your proof is ready of your final consent.

We use art to create one-of-a-kind metal recognition plaques, so everyday people can appreciate their everyday heroes, in a style that’s as unique as they are.
Lucky Tusk incorporated in 2015 and opened a brand new shop on Etsy. We immediately found our style and vision resonated with many. It did not take long to outgrow the limitations of our thriving Etsy shop, which neccessitated the move to our permanent home at luckytusk.com in 2017.

Our designer plaques are fully customizable and suitable for weddings, anniversaries, recognition awards, appreciation gifts and memorial plaques. Because every plaque is made to order, any design may be personalized to suit any occasion, no matter how unique it may be.
In 2020, we introduced our elegant and stunning metal wedding invitations. Since then, we have been designing and commemorating weddings, anniversaries, retirements, holiday announcements, fund raising events and corporate recognition events (to name just a few) around the globe.
These highly personal ceremonial plaques are both modern and traditional, and offer individualized joy, appreciation and comfort, for the years and generations to come.
And then we grew some more…
For the first few years, we were often commissioned to personalize our artwork onto canvas and other mediums. While we were happy to do the collaboration, the process of working with third party vendors took quality control out of our hands, as well as timely deliveries. This did not meet our expectations, nor did it match our aesthetic. We made the decision to incorporate canvas and paper production in-house, and we expanded the shop to accommodate the extra equipment and additional staff.
Today, we are happy to accommodate more of life’s meaningful milestones in the manner that best suits your decor, with the addition of canvas prints, framed art prints, and a variety of other useful mediums to spread personal touches throughout the home and office. From artsy canvas, to the permanence of metal, we design each gift to be an impactful work of art that may be cherished for a lifetime.
