OPAQUE VS. TRANSLUCENT METAL
Description
Opaque metal has a thin white enamel coating which allows full color printing on top, with deep vivid colors and true whites and beiges. Because of the enamel coating, you will not see or feel the underlying raw metal beneath opaque metal prints.
Translucent metal prints DO show the actual metal beneath the art print. Light colors are somewhat transparent and whites and beiges show off the actual tin color beneath the print. When the light shines on your translucent metal art plaque, it creates a stunning, luminescent effect. Translucent prints offer a much more metallic experience.
Lucky metal is an aluminum / tin blend. Hand crafted soldered metal frames are tin and may be upgraded to copper or brass frames. Expedited service may be added to your order through checkout.
FAQ
What if I need corrections?
Simply fill out the Proof Reply form and select the option that says, “No, I need changes” and you’ll be able to describe the corrections you need in the notes box before submitting your reply. You will always receive a revised proof to review, until your final approval is received.
Can you hasten the shipping or production time?
In many cases, we can. We offer several options for speedier service shown above in
the Optional Complementing Accessories section below your proof image.
If I approve the proof but later realize there was an error, will you replace it for free?
If the error was not on your final proof, but appears on your finished product, we will make a prompt replacement, expeditiously and at no cost to you. However, if the error is shown in the proof and the proof was approved to print, our policy is to offer you a deep disount, to help offset the cost of replacement.
